Is it possible for a believer to become perfect? How do we get there? How did they get there?

NO one is perfect except God...it means that however good we are we are going to make mistakes unknowingly...Bible was never revealed in English and it was never written during the life of Jesus Christ....maybe the early christians knew the real meaning of these verses but i think it has been changed with time..Bible has been revised and re-revised by Humans which is why i think that it is not in the same form as revealed to Jesus...there are also other reasons but the answer would be too long then...if u want to know more of my opinion than ur most welcome
